Busy is an understatement.
Seriously.
I’m not sure how I’m still functioning right now.
Spring quarter I took on a third job, more hours at Starbucks and my culminating project for my Visual Journalism class that involved hours of design and web development for a non-profit organization in the community.
I was pretty busy and dreaming of summer vacation.
Well, summer vacation started exactly six days ago.
In that six days I have managed to take on two new jobs and agree to design Klipsun Magazine for another quarter. Oh yeah, and I’m still working 35-40 hours at Starbucks.
Somehow I’ve carved out time to blog this post. (Actually, I haven’t carved out the time. I’m procrastinating. I have hours of work to do for one of my jobs and two whole wedding shoots to edit and a preliminary report to turn in for my internship.)
I guess being busy is okay. I’m certainly never bored. And I like my work. Downside is I don’t really have a social life and have to resort to checking Facebook on my breaks just so I can interact with my friends (pathetic, I know).
You know the worst part though? I have 27 books stacked in my room —— my summer reading list —— but I’m pretty sure I won’t be reading a single one.
Hmmmm.
Well, screaming helps.
